The third test circuit for autonomous vehicles in Europe is planned to be built in the Czech Republic

The minister of transportation Mr. Dan Ťok announced the plan to build a new circuit for testing of the autonomous vehicles in the Czech Republic. Currently there are only two similar facilities in Europe – one in Germany and another one in Sweden. The idea was developed by the Institute of the Security Technologies and Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. The intended location has not been publicly announced. The polygon shall be owned either by the government or the university itself.
